An unnamed diarist that is fifteen-year-old who the novel’s name identifies as Alice, begins a journal. With a painful and sensitive, observant style, she records her adolescent woes: she worries as to what her crush Roger thinks about her; she loathes her weight gain; she fears her budding sexuality; this woman is uncomfortable in school; she’s you could try these out trouble associated with her moms and dads.
